Refund Policy

Digital goods cannot be returned due to the irreversible nature of key/license activation. You may only receive a refund if the product key/license fails to work/activate the product you purchased. To process your request, we require proof of purchase and evidence that the license key is not functional.

Restrictions

Below are some common restrictions on refunds.

Region Restrictions and Other Product Information

We do not refund keys that are region-restricted because our website details any such restrictions in the product information on the product page, as well as through multiple warnings during the cart and checkout process.

Product details such as title, region, language, gaming platform, and more are available on the product page. Refunds are not processed for information that was available to you before you made the purchase. If any information is missing or if you are uncertain about something, please contact support and await our response before making a purchase.

Overpayment and Underpayment

If you pay more or less cryptocurrency than the amount we requested in the order, the difference will not be refunded. We recommend using a mobile wallet app and scanning the QR code to pay to ensure that you are paying the correct amount and that the transaction is sent immediately. Using an exchange or custodial wallet to send us a payment is not recommended. Consider sending to a mobile wallet first before paying for your order on HC TOPUP.

In the case of underpayments, the amount difference must be paid before we can complete your order. Please note that the fiat amount and cryptocurrency amount are calculated at the time of creating the order, and the current value of the cryptocurrency you sent is irrelevant. The cryptocurrency amount is locked, and that is the amount you must pay to complete your order. If you refuse to pay the remaining amount, a Keys4Coins Gift Card equivalent to the amount you paid will be provided. This calculation is based on the total fiat amount of the order divided by the total crypto amount and multiplied by the crypto amount paid.

Payment to the Wrong Cryptocurrency Address

We are not liable for payments sent to the wrong cryptocurrency address. The correct address is the one provided to you in your order during checkout. Please note that a virus on your computer can change the address you see on our website or modify the address in your clipboard during a copy-paste action, and this is beyond our control. There have been creative scams where someone has convinced people that if they run a script in their web browser, they will automatically receive the product and a refund from HC TOPUP, while in truth, the script only changed the address visible during checkout. We recommend that you regularly check for viruses on your computer and ensure that the last characters of the address shown in your wallet match those visible on our website before you send the payment.

Refund by Replacement Key

After we have conducted any necessary investigations and if we find the issue valid, you will receive a new key for the product. If the product is not available, you may choose a different product, and the difference in amount is payable by you in cryptocurrency or by us with an HC TOPUP Gift Card.

Refund by HC TOPUP Gift Card

If we cannot provide a replacement key for any reason, you will be eligible for a gift card. The value of the gift card will be given as the order’s total fiat amount minus any blockchain transaction/miner fee.

Refund by Cryptocurrency

We do not offer refunds in cryptocurrency except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of a manager.

A refund will be given in the same cryptocurrency that you used for payment. Typically, you will be refunded the exact cryptocurrency amount that was paid for your order minus any blockchain transaction/miner fee that we must pay to send it to you.

If HC TOPUP is unable to return the full cryptocurrency amount due to extreme exchange rate differences or other unforeseen reasons, your cryptocurrency refund will be calculated based on the order total in fiat. If this is the case, you will be informed before the refund is processed, and you may choose a replacement key or gift card as alternative refund methods.

Blockchain Fees (Miner Fees)

If your refund is paid in cryptocurrency, the blockchain fees we have to pay to send it to you will be subtracted from the amount you receive. If this is unacceptable to you, we suggest choosing an HC TOPUP Gift Card or a replacement product instead.

Shipping

There is no shipping cost when returning your key digitally, so there will be no deduction from your refund.
